Description |
Trinidad Carnival is a short work in the caribbean / calypso / soca ("soul of calypso") genre. It features the sounds and rhythms Trinidad and Tobago, particularly the steel drums, which were invented on the islands.
This fun and energetic work takes you right to the annual Trinidad and Tobago Carnival, known for their colourful costumes, exuberant festivities and celebration of calypso and soca music.
Also included is a page of soca and calypso rhythms for various percussion instruments, allowing any number and kind of auxiliary percussion to be used for the work.
